The Russian Fishermen are blocked on the ice of Gulf of Finland - The spring is finally here!
Spring, a lot of preparations to do before having possibility to have a possibility to experience our short northern summer.
The biggest issue is to fit the new mast on the boat. All the wiring have to be transferred from the old mast to the new one, the radar antenna have to be removed, the new VHF-antenna have to be fitted, the halyards should be checked. I have to decide the number of Halyards needed ... do I need dirk, do I need two Halyards for Spinnaker or is one enough? Never ending list + the normal Spring things.
New equipment? I might need a furler for the Cruising Chute. Which one to choose, do I need the gennaker boom or do I fit the clew on the deck?
Decisions to make, things to do - so little time. even two trips abroad on April. Still the plan to get the boat on the water is already the second week of May.
In the end. Enjoy the summer to come!
