Weather forecast promised quite rough weather, so we chose medium wind Headsail. start was 17.18 and we had a good start. We did not play with spinnaker in the start, and it was a good choice because the fairwind legwas short.Nice speed until the first turn on the southern buoy offshore. We did crucial mistake that multiplied afterwards (wind went down).Also the decision to take medium headsail insted of the light one was a wrog decision.
In the Sipoo opening we decided to end the race, and go to Sulkaniemi island (Merenkävijät) to enjoy sauna, beer and good night sleep.
On the 26th we were back in home docks, relaxed and well slept.
