The day was full of excitement. Before the race we had to sail to the venue (Airisto) along Aura river. It was a fantastic moment. Around 100 swans moved slowly along the river. All beautiful and majestic. All the crew was quiet - just like entering the cathedral.
Our race was also ok. We participated in the LYS2A . In the same start we had three other Swan 371s. Among them we were second so 2/4 is fine result among equals.
In the evening the Skipper had an invitation to Castle of Turku where all the Swan-owners together with their avec gathered.
Not only the venue, also the program and company were great. The first Swan-owner told the story of how he ended to purchase Tarantella, Mr Koskenkylä told his part of the story as a founder of Nautor finally Mr Ferragamo as present owner also included his spices on the potpourri.

After that Skipper with his avec joined the crew party on AquilaDeux.
